Premises Plans for The Licensing Act 2003

From 24th November 2005 all premises selling alcohol, offering late night hot food, or providing regulated entertainment will require a new licence. Every application must include a plan of the premises, drawn to a scale of 1:100 and must include the following:

  • The location & extent of the building, if relevant, and any internal & external walls which comprise the premises
  • The location of exits & escape routes
  • The locations of the licensable activities (e.g. dance floor or gaming machines)
  • Fixed structures (including furniture) or similar objects temporarily in a fixed position which may impact on the ability of individuals to exit the premises
  • Height & location of stages
  • The location & type of fire safety & other safety equipment
  • The location of a kitchen, if any on the premises

We have developed a range of cost effective services to help licensees to meet the new requirements. Simply call us and one of our trained operators will visit to survey your premises. Within days you will have a detailed CAD plan of your Premises drawn to meet the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003.
